More photos of the cottage taking shape, including some interior views:
The back door:
The most majestic POO HOLE 2.0:
From the dock looking up. (they're starting on the front deck/porch)
The double door at the bottom leads to the crawl space. It's tall enough for the captain to stand in, so it's more of a tall space, I guess:
Across the front at deck level (wrapped in tyvek) are sliding door, window, sliding door. Currently the Plein Air edition is installed.
The Tall Space. (door is to the photographer's right). This will be a multi-purpose space, including utilities like hot water tank, water filtration, electrical? and potentially solar batteries, etc. Assuming we get a quote that isn't bonkers expensive. Currently they've all been bonkers. It will also double as boat house, with kayaks, pool noodles, paddles, fishing rods, etc.
The Tall Space from the other end.
INTERIOR VIEWS! I REPEAT! INTERIOR VIEWS!

This is the great room/living room, looking towards the lake. (You can tell because of the lake in the background. Duh.) The upper story windows will be casement windows. The corner in the far right of the picture is where the woodstove will be situated.
Looking at the back of the cottage from the great room. Side door on the left, this space will be the wee galley kitchen. Cottage neighbour, Igor, peeking in the door to the back screened porch.
This framed room is the first of the bedrooms. I believe the red-head claimed this one. He will be sleeping on plywood, apparently.
This back corner is the opposite corner from the kitchen corner (closest to Igor's cottage). Shown from left-to-right are doorways to the red-head's room, the Princess' room (another plywood bed), the loo, and the master bedroom.
This will be the master bedroom, eventually. Sliding doors to the front porch overlooking the lake. Another casement/awning window in the shed dormer. Vaulted ceiling in here.
This is a view of the little loft space over the kitchen/first bedroom. It will mostly be storage, with possible use as overflow sleeping space in a pinch.
Another view of the loft from the great room, over the second bedroom and the loo:
Exciting photos of where windows will someday me. Plein Air models currently installed.
Same windows, looking slightly to the right. (There are 3 altogether).
The not-yet-a-deck. First step is a doozy.
He's in the loft! Standing over what will be the bathroom.. Side door down below.
The loft space over bedroom 2 (girl bedroom)
Ok, OK. we've seen the windows. Move along.
A view outside from Igor's side of the cottage.
