Here what the marina looks like in the winter:
Our slip is along the shore by that lonely tree. I'm enjoying thinking that the water snakes are frozen stiff right now.
Here are a few winter photos of the Island.
This is the East-facing side of the island (not our side):

I expect to see that trailer bobbing past the island in May.And finally, here's a nice view of the south shore, including West Sugar Island:
So clearly, out by our neck of the woods, the lake is fairly frozen.
You still wouldn't catch me on it.
