Mushrooms

It had been three weeks since our last visit to the cottage. It felt like a lifetime!

As we were unloading the boat and heading up the stairs to the cottage, I happened to glance to my right down the path in front and saw this. Or rather, these.

Mushrooms!

I've never seen anything quite like this. We get your garden variety white-mushrooms-that-grow-in-the-grass type of mushrooms, but I've never witnessed a big clump of the orangey fellows.
