Quackers

The ducks are back out in full force on the lake.

They seem to really enjoy the weedy conditions this year, nibbling around for weed snacks everywhere the weeds are growing.

A momma duck and her paddling of ducklings often visit at dusk in the weeds along our shore.

One of the kids' favourite pastimes is calling out "DUCK BUTT!" whenever one of them dives under for a bite.

We sometimes catch her up on the dock, showing us a little wing,

Doing the "....and this is my butt" pose that celebrities like to do on the red carpet.

And probably applying a liberal coat of ducky whitewash.
