Aunt Ellen

Aunt Ellen came to the cottage this weekend. Aunt Ellen is the captain's sister. You'd never guess by looking at them, would you (sarcasm alert!). She's like a beardless captain with hair.

Aunt Ellen (or "an Tellen", if you're going to pronounce it correctly, like the kids do) brought her big, yellow kayak with her to the cottage. The lake was pretty rough on Saturday, but on Sunday morning she set out for an hour-long trip, and made another voyage in the afternoon to circumnavigate the island.

Props to her. Kayaking is hard! Almost as hard as pedalling a pedalboat. I'm way to lazy for that nonsense.
