Not much new to report.

Not much new to report this week. The cement has been delivered for the footings (and if you're the type to quibble over concrete vs cement, you can hush right now). We've been told the work on the footings should start late this week. 

We've paid for the new windows and doors. That was a tidy chunk of change. *Wipes brow* 

They say there's an 18-week delay on sliding doors (something to do with the availability of tempered glass?!?), So I hope they'll make it in before the builder's barge is out of the water for the season.

We've been noodling about looking at solar solutions, but no firm decisions have been made there.

And I'm hoping to start planning the kitchen cabinetry, if only IKEA would stop pushing back the launch date for their home planner app. Was July 5. Now July 12. Software the world over: never delivered on time.
