Happy Canada Day!
This year marks the first year in a long time that we haven't celebrated Canada Day with friends at a neighbourhood street party. The party has been fizzling in the last few years (hmmm. Ever since we started to show up. Coincidence? I hope so!). This year, we're hitting the road and spending Canada Day at the lodge.
The fireworks won't be nearly as impressive, but we should still be able to see some decent shows around the lake.
I'm hoping the company will more than make up for the lack of a jumping castle. Maybe the kids can just play bouncey-bouncey on the Captain after a big dinner. That's pretty much the same thing, right?
